Yeah, USB host is a difinite plus and I feel it is the marketing that failed them. The whole idea of "Simple/Cheap computer for villages" never took off. They should have poised this against some of the PDAs like handspring. With Indian script recognition (that other PDAs lack), this would have worked quite well.
