Yeah I have used MSE on all of my Windows 7 computers since I have gotten them and I have yet to get a virus. That in combination with Malwarebytes and you should be golden as far as protecting your computer if you aren't too tech savvy.

Yeah everyone is so impressed by HTML5...it really isn't that revolutionary I don't think at least. It has been around for a while, but does bring some interesting things to the table. I love that it makes rounded corners so easy, back in IE days you used to have to use a script that made your page slower than a pentium 2 i swear.

I really like that KDE keeps updating...I personally think it has a better flow than GNOME and is much less clunky than Unity. The last update was a bit glitchy but still I really like the way that it looks. I have been using it on BT5 for about 6months now and I much prefer it to the GNOME counterpart.

I really do like Unity, but I don't feel like it is as effective as the previous Ubuntu versions. I find that I don't really use Unity intuitively because I still really just use terminal to launch and control apps. Also, Unity tends to 'hangup' and freeze/get stuck a lot more than I would like.

Seriously i can't believe that patents are this out of control. I mean all OS's are going to be relatively similar because it is so difficult to make a GUI from scratch that people will like.

I have always thought that BIOS was fairly easy to use if you just read an article about it. I understand that microsoft is concerned about the "safety" of the computer, but i don't think that it should come at the cost of not being able to change the os
