I wish that I could, even manually, block javascript, flash, animated images, etc. on a site-by-site basis. So you surf to a page and it applies your default preferences (all the crap off for me). Then you can turn it on as desired. Remember the settings for this site and use them when you come back.
You could apply machine learning by analyzing the site like dimensions of images, size of flash on a page (in a little box = ad probably) etc. and you could actually apply filtering dynamically instead of the static default set if the user requests it.
