Comment Windows 2000 vs Windows XP vs Server 2003 (Score 1) 670

The article claims that these platforms are "100% different codebase". I'd like to see where the author get this information. I have legitimate access to the Windows sources and I can tell you that each new release of Windows simply builds on top of the previous release. You wouldn't want to rewrite this stuff for each new release - for example, the WinXP sources is 5GB of source code alone.
