My personal experience is that HR recruiters have been relatively ‘lazy’ for quite some time, using tools to ‘scan’ resumes for key words to ‘match’ applicants to potential job opportunities. I bought a 2023 MacBook Pro M2 to replace a damaged 2017 model. I had 8GB on my previous three units and never had a problem running various applications and having multiple browser tabs open. Until now. The computer slows down to a crawl, and I am constantly opening the usage panel to ‘manage’ the memory. And Safari is the worst offender as chief memory hog. Chrome seems fine with less than half of what Safari is using, (sometimes with the same sites open just for comparison). PowerPoint is second. I don’t understand why it is an issue now after all of my years with zero problems.

Also to pee in a bottle because no time for bathroom breaks with orders to fulfill.
