Facebook is a useful service, but an incredibly dumb company.
How many privacy problems and complaints has it had?
Google doesn't need to compete. It can wait, sit back, and watch Facebook self-destruct and needlessly subject itself to lawsuit after lawsuit, injunction after injunction.
