Of course - nothing does. In fact, I have one as well, and it's also a HTPC. But there are people who could not give two fucks about find the right computer, building it, and configuring it so it works fine on a big screen. They just want a device that they can buy, install and starting playing games, and that's what the Steam Box would do. Truth be told, I'd be happy for a success of console-like system that's based on much more open solutions and approaches than any of our current consoles. That's at least a step in the right direction.
