In my understanding there is not one specific, separate entity called khidr. Like a semi-god or an avatar... "It" rather is a timeless archetype of a characteristic frequency to which individuals can be drawn to or resonate with. "It" is the padlock of the gateway to a higher knowledge, to states of "being" that can be experienced only when you pass the gateway.
