Who would want to eat a meatball of animal protein goo?? Give it some texture. Also, you need to add 1/2 of bread crumbs and an egg to bind it together. The would make it a much larger meatball.

Carl: would it be possible to implement a system that would allow real-time and continuous review of legislation while it's being drafted? Much has been made over the past three years about legislation being available for review before voting by the House or Senate. The final draft for review usually is huge PDF that makes it near impossible for citizens, interest groups, and the media to thoroughly analysis in time.

I have not doubt that the new file system will be great, but after reading this summary, the first thought I had was that I should back-up all that Gmail before they cut it over. I've been putting it off for far too long, but I'll just have to burn a couple of days of attention to do it.
I picked up my G1 at the Galleria in Cambridge (MA). The T-Mobile Kiosk was doing a brisk business and had plenty of people on hand to demo, sell, and activate the phone.
I've noticed a lack of advertising for the G1, but I read that T-Mobile will be starting TV ads soon. I wonder how much money Google is going to contribute to the campaign.
The phone is nice and works out of the box. I used it most of the afternoon and evening on the 3G network and used a lot of battery power. I'm still working on how to conserve (use EDGE only, no GPS, no WiFi). I particularly like the syncing of contacts which is helpful.
