Letting the old folks live out their lives and die at home is a good thing; they'll enjoy a better quality of life and they won't be stuck with crippling medical bills.

I say my freedom (in the sense of doing what I want with my body and life) trumps the life of a person who will be pressured into suicide.
Such reasoning (that some people will fall prey to something (like drugs)) is very dangerous to personal liberty.
