If this legislation passes then small independent internet radio stations will be unable to pay the fees and therefor immediately go off the air. This is a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. I can say for a fact that 80% of the new music I have bought in the last 12 months has been because I heard it on an internet radio station.
