Journal Journal: Won a Zune for writing about VisualStudio 2008 Installfest

In December, Microsoft held community "Installfest" events for its launch of the Visual Studio 2008 IDE. For attending the event, all participants were given a key to get a full-version of Visual Studio 2008 Professional as well as a Visual Studio 2008 "t-shirt". Overall, it was a GREAT event, some seriously talented programmers gave short speeches about their experiences working with it while it was in Beta as well as the fact that they managed to tie in a Charitable cause along with the event,

Well, after seeing Mr Obama's name on the list, I went and submitted the following Post under the category of "Ethics" -- I cannot believe that Senator Obama, a man who asked for the debates to be licensed under the "Creative Commons" could have the nerve to accept money from a group of extorting corporate gluttons like the RIAA who are KNOWN for pressing charges against people who have NO means to defend themselves. And the fact that Senator Obama is a Democrat, makes me truly wish that I was NOT!! What ever happened to idealistic liberals who thought they could make the world a better place? ... This is funny, theregister is reporting that due to rain in india quite a FEW Tech Companies are out of commission, including but not limited to HP.
