As the guy who created the first Application Storefront—and sold it to Steve Jobs—I can tell you this: distribution was never the hard part. we solved that early. what broke the internet next was trust. Napster proved infinite access. iTunes proved verified is worth paying for. the App Store combined both—but at the cost of control, review, and liability. now we’re here again. distribution is infinite. creation is automatic. trust is the constraint. the next system doesn’t review people. people bring their own proof. that’s how fraud ends— not by blocking it, but by making credibility more valuable than deception.
