Beyond grilling the candidate tech and non-tech, if the person says "no" and just sits there after this question, I think you know what to do w/them. Also, ask them a really large question. A user sends mail from A.com to a user in B.com. Tell me everything you can about what needs to happen. This will give a good indication of their thought procresses, level of concept understanding, etc. D'ont worry bout the exact answer but the way the answer it. -john
