If it'd be possible to keep evil-doers from replacing the disks, Linux distros should work with Netflix to distribute ('rent') their install DVDs.

'We argue that the construction and operation of extremely large-scale, commodity-computer data centers at low-cost locations was the key necessary enabler of Cloud Computing,' The paper outlines 10 obstacles to cloud computing [PDF]."
