Comment Why the restrictions? What they should be doing... (Score 2, Interesting) 392

I'd like to see what the logic is behind the local build restrictions, it doesn't on the face of it, make sense to me.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the Firefox plugin which will allow the user to select inside any web based search field to be included in the toolbar drop down menu for specific searches, ala Icab. (http://www.icab.de) In this way the user can use every kind of google search there is,(and others) right from the toolbar.

Nicholas says in part:

" Microsoft's decision to return $32 billion to its shareholders may be a wise business move, but it is also an admission of defeat:"

Journal Journal: How to move google to the forefront of Democracy

So, my question for this very moment is: Is there a P2P network which is using Google? By doing so, they could circumvent the problem we seem to facing with the congress wanting to shut P2P down: "But, we're trading public documents and they're all searchable via google, a public website."

Have you ever seen a public document? Comprehension doesn't come easily. So, I think, rather than spreadsheets, use maps.
