Journal: Colin Powell for President

For the past year or so, I've had the idea of writing in Colin Powell [4-Star General (ret.), ex-Secretary of State] as my vote for the U.S. President in 2008. In order for this to be an eligible vote, I would have to gather signatures from a certain percentage of my state's electorate. This shouldn't be too hard given that I have over one year to reach that requirement. My issue comes from the fact that the man has stated time and again that he has no desire to run for the position. However, I believe that if 60 million Americans asked him to be president, he would do it... Wouldn't he?
