I love that quote, its so true. My most productive days are when I have a paper due, because I end up doing all the things I avoided doing for the last month. For example today I did my laundry, took out the trash, cleaned my desk, and took a shower. My paper is due in 6 hours.

Okay if both AMD and Intel are going to support paladnium, are there any other good chips out there that won't? Obviously AMD and Intel are the big x86 chip makers, are there any other x86 chip makers? How about non-x86 chips? I run Debian Linux and they support alot of different chips.
