Two prior convictions for DUI, and one for operating a boat while intoxicated. But she's still on the road, this time with a level of alcohol in her system that is normally thought lethal.

She was arrested just across the river from us. That's a crazy high Blood Alcohol Percentage that doesn't come without a pretty disciplined dedication to getting your tolerance up. I did a ride along with a Sheriff's deupty once and whilst on patrol he arrested a woman for DUI who was pretty functional but rang up a .22. he told me after that he got as drunk as he had ever been at a Deputy's camping trip on which someone brought a handheld breathalyzer. How did she manage to stay alive? That's what I want to know! I mean really! As prosecutors, my sister and I helped educate police officers. (i.e. we purposely got drunk to see if the officers could tell by doing the field sobriety test. It was fun! In my youth.)
