I believe one of the most telling things I continue to hear from people is how many people are actually beginning to leave social sites. MySpace used to be the #1 social site and it has withered. I continue to hear about how many people continue to leave Facebook for a variety of reasons including it taking too much time, cyberbullying, drama, and privacy concerns. I believe the entire social media wave is changing, especially as many begin to learn hard lessons about providing so much information about themselves to the world. While I believe that the social media wave is still growing, it is growing at a much slower pace than in recent years. As a business owner, I make earbud covers, I am not worried about spending too much of my time trying to "police" my employees. Rather, I just ensure that I hold them accountable to completing the tasks they are given.
