The UK's Government's latest move doesn't surprise me at all... they realised the power and threats of the web far too late and are adopting the old command and control mentality that is completely out-of-step with the fastest growing parts of the web. So surprised that they want to lock things down... no not al all.

Isn't this just another piece of well orchestrated Apple PR? I mean they do a very good job of getting major hype around every product launch... some might be salivating, but there are plenty others who don't care in the slightest. You have to hand it to them though for managing to create so much hype with such little foundation

It has to be the obvious answer doesn't it - the iPhone has to be the most important invention that Apple has released in the last 10 years. I mean its changing the way we communicate online through mobile comms. Its been a huge hit.... I believe it sold over 10 million iPhones last year
