But at the same time, if someone saw a brown bag and no one evacuated and it was in fact a bomb, everyone would be saying "what a bunch of idiots!" There are always two sides to the story. But all of this is besides the point. Wouldn't you want to know something was going on? This isn't like a fire drill in middle school. This is pretty scary shit. I am a person that believes you should live without fear, but getting nervous about something that looks on face value to be something terrible is not over reacting.

I have 3ghz Quad Core system with 4gb of RAM. I high doubt Google Updater is going to use so many resources that it will slow my system down. If you don't like it, don't install it.
