I strongly disagree Tobias

Systemd is becoming kernel over a kernel.
It is designed with a closed system in mind.

People are telling "wrong/poor design" and answer is "there is still few bug, lets increase dependancies".
I am pretty sure, systemd is wonderfull if your hardware/production is not in trouble, but as soon you have smal problem or your try to implement something a little bit fancy,
you are not in trouble anymore, you are very quickly in very very sour situation.(personall experiences with systemd)
systemd must be very convenient for tablet, I strongly object about systemd for a server or for real hardware.
IMHO systemd and windows are very alike, a black-box.
Keep in mind, Concorde was a very big improvement over Boeing-747, "improving is not always a good move".
From my side: RHEL7 is not a option

Exact same kind of problem with systemd.... you are not alone, I am investigating moving production to slackware (not really keen to consider NetBSD, but who knows...) The only rational I can see with systemd, is to be a trojan to have RedHat selling support.... Systemd is to systemV what was Concord to Boeing-747 (a complex solution without needs)
