for gods sake, can't you understand that apple is not trying to sell to you?
their primary markets are publishing, education and non-geek people who just want something thats fairly easy to use.
there are a lot of potential customers in those categories.
substantially more than in the "i enjoy recompiling the linux kernel" group.
slashdot is infested with 15 year old idiots who think they are the only people in the world.
