Wrong. The heat isn't an issue until about 9-10. I certainly dont have the blinds and curtains down to prevent heat since the whole room and building should been cooled down during the night. Its to block out the light. Especially when the sun is low and basically has straight line into the room compared to later whenever the walls and balcony block line of sight. Im one of the unlucky few that has a balcony door aimed in such way that whenever it is open during the early morning when the sun rises (around 04:15) it reflects (its color is white) all that light around the room waking me up, way more than the heat has ever done. It is basically allows the sun to shine straight into the room and light it up like a set. Oh and the whole dont let the sun in during the day to keep the temp down with curtains/blinds is so dumb, the air quality is going to be terrible making it worse to breathe and hot. Any time someone claims that it helps keep their rooms cooler it has never been below 2.5C of outdoor temp yet still felt like shit being inside. Vast majority of homes dont have the isolation and ventilation capabilities to do this properly (as well as the thing i cant remember the name but to store the coolness energy). Hardly any windows have sun/IR films to block the heat. Curtains also basically make them into convection heaters, sun hits the curtain, warms it up (they tend to be dark btw....), air moves upwards moving the heat away from the textile, releasing it into the room.... and guess what? Sucking cold air from the floor.

Absolutely. Its just sad how terrible and untrustworthy politicians, corporations and their CEO are that there's so many people that dont listen/believe them. Like why do they not have a responsibility to not act like assholes?
