I have it now and have been using for a week and a half. Extremely happy with the performance. Feels like I moved the house into the 21st century! Real Internet finally, $100/mo for 40-60 Mbps (had 110 Mbps once!) speeds
Am in rural WI and am paying $135/mo for phone company 1.5Mbps DSL and landline, $130/mo for satellite TV, and $150/mo for "unlimited" cellular with a 15Gb capped hotspot. Get rid of phone company and Dish network, reduce cell plan and I am saving $$$
You get the dish, cables, power supply (PoE) and a router for the $500. The Dish is a sophisticated phased array (google "Starlink Dish Teardown") well worth the cost.
Took all of 15 minute to set it up and get connected in a temp spot until I can mount it on the roof in the spring.
Reddit has a thread under r/Starlink with faqs and wikis
This really is a game changer for rural areas - (I really hate the term "game changer" but it applies in this case).
Not an Elon fanboi either, but have to give him and his companies some cred here.
This will only get better as they add satellites and ground stations.
