I'm not neccesarily the paragon of legal knowledge. That being said, the last time that I checked China was a communist country.
What kind of "freedom" does a citizen have in a communist country?
Obviously this wouldn't apply to Russia, being a recent convert from communism.

This was a slashdot article listing several references as to how there isn't really any "interference" persay, but really inefficient receivers. I thought it was a pretty interesting read, hence the reason I wanted to save it.

This was the interview with Eric Blossom over at GNU Radio.
I'm keeping an eye on the development of this software and at some time I would very much like to get involved (Knowing C/C++/Linux driver development/RF/Basic Electronics would help).

I'm thinking that because of this quote, I should start an open source variant of my old favorite game, tradewars. As my current skill set applies, this project will probably start with a SQL Server back end and a VB/telnet front-end. It will most certainly be ported to Linux/MySQL later once my skill set improves.
