Like if I would resort to Facebook for news. I don't give a damn if they are flagging those as spam or not. I closed my account on this crap 5 years ago (april 3rd now it's the anniversary) and only use a Ghost account for being able to access narrow minded companies that insist to have presence only in Facebook.

Great that those worked for San Francisco. Because in most parts of the world, they are just toys in the city. Since I live in a city with one of the best transportation systems in our country, these scooters and bicycles are way too expensive for riding. In my city you can ride the whole city by bus, change from one bus to another inside "terminals" and you pay ONE fare. Most prefectures are also turning Scooters illegal because people have been ran over by cars while using them or simply getting into stupid and avoidable accidents. I usually see these scooters threw on lawn around the city and maybe if I see 3 people using them during a day, its the maximum I ever saw while strolling by the city.

I work an over 100-year old company that manufactures home appliances and nobody seem to be much worried, from the Board of Directors point of view. There are discussions for putting out a plan to allow employees to work from home but no actions yet. I mean, they could AT LEST already send all the IT department home, since everybody has laptops and VPN access already, for Christ Sakes!

I'm handling it normally, as if it was a great Flu outbreak. Washing my hands more often, staying away from stair rails, avoiding unnecessary hand contact and so on. I am not behaving like Americans conspiracy theorists nor Zombie War people that must stock everything at home for no clear reason. And that's all.

It is VERY expensive recycling plastics. The amount of energy into th process plus the associated costs are making it inviable. That's why many companies prefer simply to use new plastic. Less money. Everything in this planet is money. If that account doesn't balance, someone will give a crap for your recycling. And that's why this world is so polluted.

Can't agree more on that. For the last two years I've been cursing at Motorola (Now Lenovo, or crap, it's the same thing). I also have problems with Lenovo in my line of work. IT infrastructure for the last 25 years. They are LOUSY. It seems IBM left the half of the incompetents for Lenovo and kept the best ones for them to work with their Risc hardware. With Motorola is so clear that after the Lenovo brand started to show in the phones, the thing is not the same anymore. Bugs, slow, slow slow updates and one surety to me: I will never buy another Motorola again. Sad but true.
