Journal Journal: What Moves People To Move

As people, it’s part of our history to move. Our earliest ancestors were nomads, moving from place to place to follow the trail of food. In the overall scheme of things it’s only been a relatively recent development that people have begun to settle down and stay in one place. However, while that nomadic gene still floats in our blood, it no longer drives us to change cities, states, or even the house we’re living in.
