You probably didn't do anything more than have an opinion that they weren't able to formulate a rational argument against and thus they opted to mark you as such.
Me? I have a few but I have a lot of fans too. Not sure how really. I generally just speak my mind.
Anyhow, I don't actually alter the value of their posts and I read at -1 so that I can see all of the conversation. I do use the friend/foe list colors to quickly identify people's posts that I may find interesting and want to respond to.
