Very correct. I can hear the MP3 version if I concentrate on it. However there was a wav file of it that I could not hear whatsoever no matter how hard I tried. All the much younger people that I've tested it with heard it just fine though.
Do a frequency analysis of the mp3 file and the wav file and you can see why this is.
I thought MP3s went up to 20kHz though. Could be wrong.
