Journal jawtheshark's Journal: Moving the domain 4

So, about a month after I've got my DSL, the big move of jawtheshark.com happened tonight. The server at my parents will now only host willekens.lu, and my little machine at the apartment will host jawtheshark.com.

So, I've tarred spirit00's and my account, ftp-ed the archives over to my ibook and then did the final rm -Rf /home/jorg. You see, it was nearly the same feeling as seeing my old bedroom empty. The start of a new epoch. Now I won't have the excuse "I go home to check my email". Nope, that one won't work anymore.

Oh, well... tons of fun projects that I can do with two servers under my control! Backup email servers, VPN, etc, etc, etc....

Well, I've still got tons of work on the Dual as a desktop, and so me and my friend Jim Beam will retire back to my serverroom.
