  • Good job getting so close. They get about 5 billion applications per day, so even being noticed by them is something.

    • Yes, I know... I thought it's funny too. Especially that I don't even consider myself all that "hot" as a programmer/techie anymore.

  • I have been turned down by them - twice.
    Into the second phone call each time.

    After looking closely at the operation over there, there isn't enough free Naked Juice in the coolers to make it that attractive...

    • Oh, they contacted me. ;-) I'm not sure what call I actually "made" because the first call was with a google-recruiter. The second and the third were with techies. The last one didn't tell me that I "flunked", just that the results would be reviewed. About two weeks later I got the email that I wasn't qualified.

      Too bad, it was nice to dream about it ;-)
