This isn't Active Desktop. This is OpenDoc for OS X. Anyone remember OpenDoc from System 8? Seemed like a great idea at the time, but Apple implemented it fairly poorly. If Konfabulator had things like word processors, image viewers/editors, web browsers, etc, etc, it'd be great. OpenDoc was meant to be an integrated part of the operating system that did almost all the things you generally need your computer for, and then other people would sell the BIG programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Avid, After Effects, and other big productivity software. OpenDoc would take care of your viewing of text files and JPEGs and 3DMF. I wonder if there's a page up anywhere about OpenDoc anymore.... Jared
