Yes, I understand your point on this. It is just that there are tons of tech sites pushing their reviewing articles into slashdot and while they are talking about something they had as a loaner or to keep I made the item myself. On the other hand I'm bias to my own work as the reviewers can be bias towards the products or companies that they are reviewing for.
Perhaps it should be Slashdot's job to decide what to do on this situation in future. There will be submissions by the creators of the articles themselves so could it be possible to block these or do we want to block them at all?
