Z1 is a simple, intuitive system for very rapid text input on a soft "qwerty" keyboard. The user simply traces a quick "connect-the-dots" path, roughly aiming to pass through each letter of a word.

Jitterbug has two phones that are about as basic as it gets. At $147 each, they're not the most inexpensive phones around, but the cheapest service plan is only $10/month.

The coverage seems very thorough, and everything about the phone seems genuinely user friendly.

Having looked around, the Motorola F3 is exactly what she wants but it doesn't seem to be available in the US. If we order it online will it work on US carriers? Are there any comparable products out there with a similar feature set and price range available for US networks? I appreciate the help.
