I'm going to assume that you probably, just as me, grew up when a boomer was no more than someone born in the generation post WWII, my parents for example.
There's nothing bigoted about that, we just give funny names to different generations
The issue is that as language as evolved, as it always will, it now took a meaning more of an old person with calcified ideas (you can find that kind of person at any age group). I've seen it being used in pretty much the opposite of the "get off my lawn" and to be more of a "yeyeah grampa, go take care of your lawn and shake your cane, we have things to do"
As we see more of this usage, the more it will be bigoted, specially in context of ill intentions and/or willful ignorance.

Irreversible damage started already in November, when he got elected the second time, it showed us that we can't really trust the USA as an ally (at least not with the current not overly democratic system, he didn't even get the majority of the votes).

In the long term, this might make Europe relatively stronger and more independent, though I'd rather all of us could focus on fixing the damage we did to the climate and make a better world.

You seem to think that introversion/extroversion to be some sort of binary switch instead of a spectrum.

For me the 100% WFH during pandemic was wonderful for my mental health, even though I can accept that it can be better both for me and the company I'm working with to be present every so often.

How about looking at each case separately?

I don't remember when was the last time I worked in a team that was all local, so knowing how to work at a distance with colleagues at a distance is important regardless.

I found that having the discipline to fire up (or promptly schedule one) a video call whenever the answer is more than a couple of sentences in a chat window is very helpful, even if that is really not my natural response.

Summing up, to each his own, instead of a prompt "f*ck off" response.

...but I would definitely love to have it available on the terminal and replace vi/emacs (I do use both)
