Journal: Dutch politicians wake up

The Dutch social democrat party PvdA is proposing tough anti-spamming rules. Anyone who sends marketing emails must be able to prove that the recipient asked for it. Break the rule and you can be fined 4500 EURO. Per e-mail sent, that is. The same law would also make life much harder for "telemarketeers". The law will be voted on in parliament later this month.
