I can confirm that the mod works fine on an HM+H rev 1.1 board. On that board, and probobly all boards that have an almost triangle shaped trace above the 5 holes on the top side, you will need to connect to the fourth hole from the optics side which is the second hole from the cable side. Now if someone can figure out how to preform a similar mod on the pre -A model it would be great. I hate to see stuff go to waste but I can't see myself using my pre -A units with software now, and I couldn't bring myself to pass them on to a freind for their original purpose.
