I do agree with a lot of this but if the government isn't going to curtail Amazon, the largest corporation taking over our economy, at least some of my favorite software providers are sticking it to them. As big as Amazon is, there should be considerable effort to open-source as much as you can. And to me it seems like Elastic changed the tune... I mean, Google gets a lot of hate, but they revolutionized the IT industry with their contributions. Not something I can say for Amazon.
