I thought Absolution Gap was his best, but I read it (accidentally) before reading Revelation Space and Redemption Ark. Yeah, I don't know how that happened. I kept thinking, wow, he expects so much from his readers. But when I went back and read the predecessors, I didn't like them as much. And I think Scorpio is by far his best character.

Tara Fitzgerald couldn't find the nude pictures she planned on sending to her boyfriend, but instead of just taking more, she decided to see if a Dell tech support call could fix her problem. Apparently the tech support guy found them. Unfortunately, he then put them up on a site called "bitchtara."

36-Hour Lemmings Port Gets Sony Cease and Desist 268

Zerocool3001 writes "The recently featured 36-hour port of the original Palm version of Lemmings to the iPhone and Palm Pre has received a cease and desist letter from Sony. Only one day after submitting the app for approval on the two app stores, the developer has put up a post stating that he 'did this as a tribute to the game — we can only hope that Sony actually does a conversion for platforms like iPhone and Palm Pre in the near future.' The text of the cease and desist letter is available from the developer's website."

Salon's whole business model is based on either 1) seeing an advertisement, and getting a cookie to be able to see their content for a set amount of time (the cookie's lifetime) or 2) having a paid account, and having a cookie to prove it.

I have a paid account. They have fine stories.
