You got this backwards. The lack of competition is having a powerhouse app on all systems. The competition comes when Sony has to create a game to compete. Innovation comes from that. Sony is big enough to do it easy.

Console exclusives have been the norm for decades. I really feel no pity for Sony after Street Fighter V, etc, etc. If there really needs to be a CoD game for Sony then they should make a competitor. They have the resources.

It's an OS. If they want to quit selling it because people are suing them and they can't make enough money in that arena to warrant fighting the lawsuits, then they should be able to quit selling it. You act as if an OS is some civil right or something.
