    • Spirit's always been off and on. But Surak dropped out of communication like a rock in a black hole. And Slothdog has been sort of on and off of late too, so I'm not sure what to think. NeeNee dissappeared after saying she was taking a flight when the hurricane hit, but I didn't hear about a plane crash, so I'm hoping that she's a safe driver, etc, and has just been too busy for /.. The others are just spotty posters and as such aren't a big worry...
  • i actually tried calling, AND sent a post letter. No response. I'm hoping he's oke.

    • I emailed him, and haven't gotten anything back yet, as well...
    • Replying to you so ICBLF sees it also. Is Surak in the Military? I gathered he is in the US. I had just stumbled across him and the Weekly Recap(tm), so I do not know much about him and wondered. He vanished shortly after I faned him and I thought he may have been shipped overseas. I heard that happend to twirlipofthemists and he went poof without a trace for a while until some one [friend or family member?] chimed in that he was overseas.
  • Sometimes folks just go for a walk to look, think,
and feel about other things. Maybe we will all be
by here again, maybe we will never pass this way again.
I don't know, but it does look like they went on vacation.
Maybe they are hanging around or revisiting some communities.
I've known others to come and go for a couple months in a
community, then you say hello over there or when they get
    back here.

  • But I am not sure if that has anything to do with his hiatus.
  • Just haven't had much of anything interesting to post, I guess. The ol' SlothRadio [slothradio.com] has been relatively popular lately (30+ promo CDs sent to me in the past couple weeks, 8 official hosted band forums, etc), so I've been spending most of my time there. Plus I had a wee bit of paranoia that I was posting too many pictures of my kids online, so I probably won't be showing them off publicly as much any more....
    • Glad to know that you're OK. Good to hear that SlothRadio is doing well - (I haven't listened in a couple weeks... need to get our network guy to reconfigure the firewall again). Sorry to hear that we won't be seeing as much of the kids, but I can understand your thoughts there. I've always been a little concerned with releasing too much personal info on to the net. I always wonder what's an ok amount of openess, and what is just being too niave.

Anyhow, keep in touch, I consider you a friend (apart from th
