Planets, moons, asteroids... can we draw some arbitrary line on size? Since a planet can only reasonably mined on the basis of whatever area you can "work", why not apply this rule to all bodies?

Indeed, I think ~30 million years was calculated for populating the entire galaxy with beings using only sedentary, rocket launched, ark-ships. 300 year voyage followed by 300 years of settlement on each planet before the next diaspora.
Hmm, I take your point but in this example I think pretty much any programmer could answer a quick question without their balls dropping.
