I could stand close to Caesar and rule the world. Actually, he would stand close to me, or stand down if he wants to live. It's the pirates who are the real rulers of the planet. These are men with no need for nations who roam freely throughout the world, and create and destroy them on a whim. This is how your world works today. It has always been that way.

Approach the UN and see if you can become the world's first legitimate independent human, with no passport from any particular nation, just some sort of thing they might grant and verify. Just declaring it isn't enough to travel I think, you still need some documents to get from nation to nation unless you sneak across the borders all the time. It really is an interesting concept. I don't really like the UN, but for want of any other internationally recognized body, they seem the best shot at declaring pers
