The problem I have with Rochester and most places in Upstate NY (I grew up near Albany), is the absolute homogeny of people in these areas. They are generally beautiful areas with wonderful nature, but the people are all the same. I found myself craving more culture and diversity of people and promply moved to New York City where I love it. But its all a matter of opinion and I'm sorry if I offended those who live in Rochester.
