Problems with using linux exclusively (Score 1)

I have been trying to use linux alone at home without a problem. At work, Its a different issue. Of course there are 3rd party windows programs that are inescable save companies like netraverse and codeweavers. My problem has been PPTP and VPN client software. pptpconfig by James Cameron http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/, is a start, but not a good solution. It esentially doesn't work for most VPN servers that aren't a microsoft product. So for that reason, I can't depend on linux exclusively, nor can I sell the idea to my boss very well.
