I fully recommend Manjaro which is based on Arch. I had used Windows since version 3.0 and I was all-in on Microsoft until my dev work switched from
Things I like about Manjaro: It just works and it's a rolling release so you always get the latest stuff (within 2 weeks or so). Their default installation uses XFCE which is the best minimalist Windows-like desktop I've seen. Their Add/Remove Software program is easy to use and it lets you install practically all the software that exists. Manjaro has worked for me on 2 different laptops and 3 different desktop workstations for years without a serious failure, only very occasional errors from 3rd party (AUR) packages, removed keys or expired certificates.
Some people might come here and comment about how Manjaro is bad because they made a mistake about renewing certificates once and because of some money handling issue which amounts to absolutely nothing IMO. It's good enough for the PinePhone people to make it their official distro and it's also generally very popular.
