People make the mistake of seeing Tesla in particular as a car company, or a battery company. It's an IP and Data company. Those cars are all out there gathering geo data and driving habits, reporting back to base. Twitter is not just a social platform, it's a vacuum sucking up user data, customer complaints and so much more... If you have the clout and hardware to come through it. Bringing oracle into the mix is smart. They can crunch big data and potentially save a few $ on the running costs too.

Fair point. I didn't know about the Adobe suite not being compatible with 10 Ent. More expense and doesn't generally come with me machines either. I'm with you, not looking forward to those support tickets or provisioning issues. Hope it doesn't survive past insider ring or there's at least an option to create a local account with a provisioning script once it's added to our RMM solution as a sort of autopilot.

It's getting slightly off-topic and numbers are just being plucked from thin air here without any references. So let me ask you this. What is normality? Apple employees have worked for nearly two years remotely. Why isn't that normal? Why the need to return to the offices? When it came down to it, no one needed to buy shiny things, the world's kept spinning, normally. In fact, pollution levels dropped thanks to less commuting and other travel. https://www.nasa.gov/feature/g... Perhaps normal isn't where we should be aiming for. Can't we aspire to something better? Hospitals were overran globally during the pandemic, it did have an effect, beyond the norm. That was not a placebo. The only difference is that the vaccine has rolled out and tempered admissions. We can return to work and buying pointless things, but should we?
