Linux MulitPlayer games (Score 2, Informative)

Nobody has mentioned Conquest. That game has been around over 20 years. And it still is a fun game. It's the predecessor to NetTrek. However, I think it is better. You can plan better strategies for battles and all. Granted it's not a fancy interface, as a matter of fact it's a curses interface, but once you get past that you can have alot of fun with the game. It's pretty cool to have a bunch of people playing on teams trying to take over the universe, it gets pretty heated at times too.
